Welcome

This guide is designed to assist members of the Composition and Rhetoric community in their research endeavors.  The tabs across the top of the page organize the information into workable categories.  You'll be able to find databases, electronic texts, journals, books, reference works, and websites on these different tabs.

To get you started here are two very useful resources:

Education Research Complete

JSTOR

MLA International Bibliography

Please help us to serve you better by utilizing the feedback, comments, and rankings options throughout the guide.  If you need any assistance, feel free to contact me using the information on the right.

Thanks,

Arianne Hartsell-Gundy

Journal Citation Reports and Other Tools for Preparing Your Dossier

Don’t know the difference between an impact factor and an Eigenfactor? Not sure how to find out which journals in your field are the best? Then this workshop is for you. In this workshop faculty and graduate students will learn how to use Journal Citation Reports more effectively. Realizing that not every journal in the Journal Citation Reports, other tools will also be covered. These tools include Publish or Perish, Google Scholar, and WorldCat Identities. This workshop will be helpful for all disciplines.  The workshop will be on 02/10/20 from noon-1:00pm.  You can register here.
